Meet the Team

 

Chris Carter (aged 46 (Sept 1959), 23 (Sept 1982) years investment experience):  A founding partner of Origin and an architect of our investment process. Responsible for global equity portfolios.  Previously: senior investment manager at Investec Asset Management managing global equity and balanced portfolios; head of the global investment strategy team at UBS; global equity portfolio manager at Worldinvest (now New Star).

 

Nigel Dutson (aged 40 (Dec 1965), 17 (Sept 1988) years investment experience): A founding partner of Origin and an architect of our investment process. Responsible for global and UK equity portfolios. Previously: senior investment manager at Investec Asset Management, managing UK and global equity portfolios; managed institutional funds at Schroders and european equity funds at Hill Samuel.

 

Nick Mottram (aged 43 (Nov 1962), 16 (June 1990) years investment experience): A founding partner of Origin and an architect of our investment process.  Responsible for global equity portfolios.  Previously: head of equities at Investec Asset Management, responsible for the global equity process and portfolios; director, portfolio manager and global head of research at Schroder Investment Management. Qualified as a chartered accountant with Touche Ross & Co in London.

 

Tarlock Randhawa (aged 30 (Nov 1975), 6 (Mar 2000) years investment experience): A partner of Origin and an architect of our investment process. Responsible for managing global equity portfolios. Previously: investment manager at Investec Asset Management and member of the global equity team, responsible for managing charitable foundation portfolios. Trained as a general insurance actuary.

 

Jeremy Rigg (aged 39 ( Nov 1966) , 11 (May 1994) years investment experience): A founding partner of Origin and an architect of our investment process. Responsible for managing UK equity portfolios.  Previously: senior investment manager at Investec Asset Management responsible for UK equity portfolios; fund manager at Schroders, managing institutional and retail portfolios.

 

Michael Rimmer (aged 43 ( March 1963), 18 (Sept 1987) years investment experience): A founding partner of Origin and an architect of our investment process. Responsible for managing UK equity portfolios. Previously: senior investment manager at Investec Asset Management responsible for UK equity portfolios; fund manager at Schroders, managing institutional and retail portfolios.

 

Lindsay Johnston (aged 52 (Jan 1954), 17 (April 1988) years investment experience):  Apartner of Origin and chief operating officer. Responsible for business infrastructure, operations, finance and compliance. Previously: coo of Mail Capital LLP; coo of Lombard Odier; group finance director and administrative director of Hill Samuel Asset Management.  He is a qualified chartered accountant.

 

Paul Homes (aged 45 (Jan 1961), 19 (August 1977) years investment experience):  The head of investment administration at Origin.  Previously: head of offshore administration at New Star Asset Management; head of operations at Lombard Odier.
